MBE Fast Fact: Solicitation
It’s very important to note that the crime of solicitation is complete the moment that the solicitation (inciting, inducing, or urging another to commit a felony with the specific intent that the person solicited commit the crime) takes place. Therefore, if the solicitor, after soliciting, attempts to withdraw, the withdrawal will have no effect. The crime has already been completed.
