Changes to the Uniform Bar Exam aren't scheduled until 2026, but I'll be posting any updates about that exam and they come in. For now, the test will be testing 8 substantive areas, and 7 skills.
The 8 substantive areas (what the NCBE is calling "Foundational Concepts and Principals") are as follows:
Civil Procedure; Contract Law; Evidence, Torts; Business Associations; Constitutional Law; Criminal Law; and Real Property.
The 7 skills (what the NCBE is calling "Foundational Skills") are as follows:
Legal Research; Legal Writing; Issue Spotting & Analysis; Investigation and Analysis; Client Counseling & Advising; Negotiation & Dispute Resolution; and Client Relationship & Management.
Plenty more to come over the months and years...
