Seems there are some changes coming to the Florida Bar Exam that will apply as early as the July 2023 test. On first glance, though, these changes seem to me to be more about how the content will be tested rather than what content will be tested.
Specifically, according to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, UCC 3, UCC 9, and Trusts, will now be tested primarily through the use of multiple choice questions rather than through essays. The most significant one here is Trusts, since over the years that was a commonly tested essay subject.
Trusts may be tested on the multiple choice questions only when Wills is tested. And UCC 3 and 9 may be tested on the multiple choice questions only when Business Associations is tested.
Many expected that changes were coming, but, personally, I had thought a few of the subjects would be dropped from the exam. That's not in the cards, at least not yet.
