Some rather big changes are coming to the LSAT later next year.
The test until now has included a separate experimental section. That experimental section will go away and experimental questions will instead be added to each scored section.Though there will now be three rather than four sections on the test, each scored section will become significantly longer since the experimental questions will be embedded within the scored sections rather than appearing as its own section. There will, however, be the same number of scored questions throughout the exam. In addition, the scoring hasn't changed: 180 is still the highest score one can achieve.
With these longer sections will also come more breaks throughout. There will be two 10-minute breaks, one after section 1, and one after section 2. Section 1 of the exam will now always be Reading Comprehension, while sections 2 and 3 will always be Logical Reasoning.
More on these changes to come I'm sure! And more info is available @ https://nationaljurist.com/lsat-format-changing-in-august-2027-what-prelaw-students-need-to-know/
